Sharon Matthews - Two Little Gumnuts

Two Little Gumnuts is a handmade children's clothing line aimed for children between sizes newborn (0000) and 10 years. Girls, boys, and unisex designs, from play to formal wear. 

I started this business in 2021, A bit about me, my name is Sharon (Shaz) and I’m a self taught sewer who starting out making clothing for my own little Gumnuts and with the encouragement from family, friends and even strangers Two Little Gumnuts started to come alive. 

I absolutely love creating outfits made with bright and fun fabrics. I try and keep it as fun as possible for the kids wither it be for a formal occasion or just something for everyday play and comfort. 

I offer my standard sizes from newborn to size 10 years with the ability to tailor to your child's requirements. Having my own children, I understand not all kids fit into the same sizes, some may need extra length added, or require a smaller waist. All my designs are thoroughly tested on my own children as well as friends' children and not everything will make the range, but my aim is comfort, fun, funky and durability. 

As all my orders are made to order (apart from off the rack premade items which are available at all markets) I can work with you to select from my array of fabric choices so that you are receiving a one-of-a-kind specialized item just for you and the children in your life.

I started doing markets at Moggill in August 2022 and have really enjoyed and admire the community here. Everyone has a smile on their face and is happy for a chat. I love that even if they are not buying, they come in and say hi and see what I have new on offer or just to come in and admire my creations. I also enjoy seeing children come back to me in my makes. Having them come and show me their outfits and how much they love them makes me extremely happy and it encourages me to keep on going. 

The best way anyone can support me is to visit my online store and give me some feedback on items you may have purchased or even if you have not purchased anything giving me some shares and likes via social media. As I am still new, and a one woman show I need all the word of mouth and shares I can get. 

I try and update my collection when seasons change, but I will always have my full season stock online for ordering any time of the year. My Christmas range will be launching in late October so keep an eye out for me if you want to purchase any Christmas clothing and accessories.
